Part of maharishi’s upcycling program, the parka sources vintage army surplus liners from Belgium, Germany and the USA – forming the Tri-Border nomenclature. Liners produced by militaries in the 1970s and 80s are amongst the most unwearable of military surplus available. It is with great pride that maharishi transform overstock liners into ready-to-wear styles, disassociating them from their violent past – thus truly upcycling them, rather than recycling.
