Maharishi is seeking a Senior Merchandiser to implement merchandising fundamentals and best practices in this new role. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be working cross-functionally with Design, Buying, Production, Retail and Wholesale to drive the business forward, maximising financial and operational profitability whilst ensuring a balance of creativity and commerciality.

Responsibilities

  • Implement, manage and maintain merchandising fundamentals and best practices.
  • Create and manage Line Flows and WSSI.
  • Create, maintain and distribute weekly, quarterly, and seasonal executive merchandise summary reports. Providing key insights on the best/worst sellers to influence stock and trading decisions.
  • Provide data-driven markdown proposals and strategies for Retail & eCommerce to achieve maximum profitability and achieve business goals and provide timely analysis of their results.
  • Responsible for collection and product pricing architecture, working collaboratively with stakeholders to achieve maximum profitability and achieve business goals.
  • Ownership of stock control, implementing replenishment and stock transfers between stores and departments to maximise product availability and profitability.
  • Managing product life cycles, ensuring maximum profitability of depreciating seasonal goods, including product clearance and write-off strategies to achieve business goals and maximise profitability.
  • Development of product assortments and range plans, collaborating closely with stakeholders, allowing for the creation of directional yet commercial collections.
  • Contribute to Retail & eCommerce buying strategy to achieve maximum profitability and business goals, ensuring a balance of creativity and commerciality.
  • Provide data-driven insights on new product areas and categories. Identifying trends and opportunities for growth and highlighting potential risks to Stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of merchandising experience.
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills with a forward-thinking nature.
  • Highly numerate and analytical with excellent attention to detail.
  • Awareness of general fashion trends and how they relate to the Maharishi demographic.
  • Positive attitude with the willingness to make real change in a growing organisation.
  • Highly proficient in Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Proficiency with NetSuite, Glew, Brightpearl and Zedonk is not essential, but preferred.

This role is responsible for supporting the development of graphic inputs and art working for both mainline Maharishi collections and external collaborations, as well as DPM Studio camouflage projects, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Graphics support across departments, including contribution to linesheets, tech packs, collection themes, internal/external project briefs, general art direction, brand identity, etc.
  • Create design outputs that include: mood boards, print graphics, embroideries, iconography, brand identity, presentation decks, camouflage/disruptive patterns, etc.

Qualifications

  • 3+ year experience in a graphic design role. Experience in a similar scale/price point brand, retailer or agency is preferred
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating the above

Maharishi is seeking a Garment Technician to support its growing Design and Production departments. This new position will be instrumental in ensuring quality, fit and functionality of garments - from the initial design stage through to final production.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Design and Product Development teams to review and establish consistent templates across the core collection
  • Creating and maintaining detailed technical specifications for garments, including: measurements, materials, construction methods and finishing techniques
  • Preparing patterns for manufacturing process and assisting with inspection of garment construction / fit at all stages of sampling and production
  • Confidently run seasonal fit meetings
  • Take ownership of master blocks and grading rules ensuring consistency across supplier base
  • Liaise directly with vendors with updates to fit and other issues

Maharishi is seeking a Product Developer to support its growing Design and Production departments. This new position will deliver the end to end product development process across all product categories and will act as a liaison with external vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring close working relationships with Design, ensuring their vision is feasibly translated into product
  • Establishing effective working relationships with vendors and developing a strong working knowledge of their capabilities
  • Collaborating with and communicating across Merchandising, Design, Production, Garment Technology and Buying teams to ensure all interests are represented in deliverables
  • Understanding aesthetic and cost demands and communicating them effectively to vendors
  • Ensuring initial product costings are in line with margin targets and managing cross costing where necessary
  • Sourcing new suppliers and ongoing review of supplier capabilities
  • Responsible for timely handover of collection with feedback from internal stakeholders
  • Continually developing trims, fabrics, finishes and techniques
  • Creating tech packs and managing fabric and trim library

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in Menswear development and / or production team
