Lifetime Repair Service
The Maharishi Lifetime Repair Guarantee service is designed to extend the functional life of Maha garments. The program provides repair work carried out in the Maha Tailor Shop by trained staff, using appropriate materials to maintain the integrity of the original garment. Repairs range from minor work, such as replacing buttons or Snocords®, to more complex restoration including patching and heavy-duty zips.
Current Maharishi customers* receive repairs and return shipping free of charge. All other clients may access the service for a standard administrative and shipping fee. Repairs are limited to three items per month per client, to ensure each item receives adequate attention and processing time.
Items are assessed upon receipt to determine the scope of work; if a repair is more complex than initially estimated, the client is contacted before any additional work is carried out. Repairs are completed within 2–4 weeks depending on complexity, after which clients are notified for collection or shipping arrangements. Items with fabric that has disintegrated or decayed beyond repair, or that show unresolvable discolouration, are returned without repair.
Maharishi offers to repair any Maharishi garment, regardless of age or where it was purchased.
Please use the form below to contact our customer service team who will assess your eligibility for the service and issue a reference number for the repair. You will then be required to ship the item back at your own cost. The repair will be carried out at the Maharishi Tailor Shop in London before being sent back to you or to collect in store. Please ensure the garments are as clean as possible before sending them out.
Depending on the complexity of the repair it may take up to 30 days, not including shipping times.
We offer this service for all clients regardless of your location.
You will be required to ship the item back to the Maharishi Tailor Shop based at 2-3 Great Pulteney St, London, UK at your own expense.
The item will be shipped back to you, or you can opt to collect it at our London Store location.
Current Maharishi Customers* receive free return shipping. All other clients are charged at our standard shipping rates
Not all repairs will be carried out invisibly. Patches or darn stitching may be required to fix the item adequately.
Garments cannot be returned to as as-new condition.
Our repair service covers Maharishi apparel only and excludes rugs, footwear, watches, tools and toys.
Surface issues including screen prints, fabric distortion, bleach marks or stains are not eligible for this service.
Repairs are charged before completion.
Current Maharishi Customers* receive this service free of charge.
For new clients, a small administration fee applies depending on the scale of the repair:
Minor Repair £15 / $20 / €15
Small darns, buttons, Snocords®, or other light fixes.
Medium Repair £30 / $40 / €30
Moderate tears, small zips, or multiple fastenings.
Major Repair £50 / $60 / €50
Large tears, patching, or heavy-duty zips.
If a repair is deemed more complex than initially charged for, the customer will be contacted and asked to pay the additional amount.
If you are sending back multiple garments, you will only be charged for the most complex repair — £30 and £50 tiers also cover minor work.
The Maharishi Tailor Shop is based at our Soho London store. Should you wish to bring your item in person we would be happy to carry out the repair while you wait, depending on the complexity of the issue.
We will also accept back items for repair at our NYC store although the repair will not be carried out on-site and will be subject to a wait of up to 30 days before being shipped back.
Maharishi will make every attempt to complete repairs to the highest possible standard. By using this service you must accept that the garment cannot be returned to its original state and that the repair work may be visible.
This service is not guaranteed and we are unable to accept back any items that you are not satisfied with for a refund or replacement.
We will offer to repair garments as many times as you require throughout the garments life.
- All repairs that are being sent to us require that you contact us prior to posting to register the return, as this may result in your repair not being completed and sent back to you. In-store returns do not require you to do so.
- Current Maharishi Customers who are eligible for this service free of charge are those who have spent £300 or more at full retail price within the last year on maharishistore.com or our store
- Repairs are limited to three items per month per customer, allowing our workshop to give each piece the required attention.
- Please ensure the garments are as clean as possible before sending them out.
- We are not liable for any items lost in transit to us. Please ensure that you use a tracked and insured shipping service.
- The stated repair time of 30 days is not guaranteed.
- Repairs may be carried out as many times as you require throughout the garments life.
- By returning the garment to us for repair you agree to our terms and conditions and accept that Maharishi cannot return the garment to an as-new condition. Repairs will be visible and not guaranteed as a permanent solution.
- We cannot accept back repaired items for refund or replacement if you are not satisfied with the work carried out.
- There may be occasions where a repair is impossible. Please contact us prior to sending the item back to ensure that the item is not returned back unrepaired.
- We are able to carry out small alterations on new, in-store purchases. We regret that we are unable to offer this service for online purchases
Maharishi promote self-repairs and will offer to provide you with any trims or stock fabric, free of charge, that we have available in order to carry out the repair. Please contact us using the contact form to let us know your requirements.
