Tour d'Afrique · Part II

The classic short-rib tour jacket silhouette is reinterpreted into kimono, raglan crew top, and trackpant variants – each constructed in a luxurious washed silk.

Inspired by the U.S. Army’s failed Tour of Vietnam, which is now centred around Africa, graphics, colours and embroidery techniques all nod to those of original 60’s Viet-era style. Embroideries are reduced to a precise 1:6 scale for the crew top and trackpants.

Commonly found on classic Sukajan jackets, the U.S. Military song lyrics “when I die I’ll go to Heaven because I’ve spent my time in hell” are replaced with the words of John Milton – “the mind can make a heaven out of hell, or a hell out of heaven”.

Offered in maha olive/ecru and black/ecru colourways, the Tour d’Afrique capsule is available now in-store and online.
