EVERYTHING FLOWS · BE HERE STILL

PANTHER CHIMERA
The Panther Chimera artwork symbolises the duality within the Yin and Yang, a common theme and integral pillar in Maharishi’s creative narratives. Each represents a polar opposite, simultaneously complementing and contradicting each other in an endless search for balance whilst connecting with the natural world. Together, the two halves become whole and serve as a starting point for change.

UPCYCLED MILITARY SURPLUS
Military surplus is a permanent feature at Maharishi, transforming unwearable items into ready-to-wear garments and reclaiming them as symbols of peace rather than war. Clothing is smudged with herbal incense, blessed, and washed in saffron water to symbolically cleanse it of its military associations.

VINTAGE U.S. ARMY AIR FORCE
Maharishi honours its continued celebration of duality, exploring vintage U.S. Army cloth and uniforms in combination with Eastern influences. Materials like wool-pile and faux shearling are panel-worked onto classic brand silhouettes such as the MA-1 flight jacket. Parkas and mid-layers reinterpret Tibetan hand-style closures as they balance olive and black flight nylons – the preferred fabrication of the USAF.

DPM: Reflective Sparse Bonsai
DPM patterns are a key part of Maharishi's exploration of camouflage. They serve to reclaim its identity from military use and remind us of its peaceful origins in art and nature. The new seasonal DPM: Reflective Sparse Bonsai serves as an updated take on the original signature Maharishi pattern, DPM: Bonsai Forest, which was conceived in 1999 and depicts symbols of peace and nature such as bonsai trees growing from heavenly clouds. Its release also coincides with the 20th anniversary of the DPM encyclopaedia – an in-depth exploration of camouflage as an artistic form.

Pax Cultura / PEACE MOUNtain
Maharishi’s ethos of pacifist military design is expressed through the symbol of Pax Cultura and the Peace Dove’s infiltration of Mount Fuji. The Pax Cultura pact saw most nations agreeing not to destroy buildings of cultural significance, including libraries and art museums, following much senseless destruction during the Second World War. The Peace Dove artwork reaffirms the ancient symbolic value of doves to represent peace.

Technical
The latest delivery of travel items highlights utilitarian technical silhouettes with built-in functional features. The selection includes styles made from Japanese recycled nylon and heavy Italian sherpa fleece, offering increased functionality through design features like built-in adjustable tailored hoods and internal carry straps.

KUNIYOSHI SKELETON
Inspired by the Takiyasha the Witch and the Skeleton Spectre by Utagawa Kuniyoshi, the Kuniyoshi Skeleton artwork depicts the Japanese princess Takiyasha reciting a spell written on a scroll, summoning a giant skeleton. The original print was finished circa 1844 and is updated by Maharishi through the modernised cyber skeleton in place of the anatomical version, representing the brand’s reverence for technology.
