AW22 artworks draw inspiration from the Cubist art movement, invented by Pablo Picasso and Georges Braque in the early 20th century. Before Cubism and the forced conscription of artists during WWI, camouflage patterns could not be conceived or realised by the military. Cubist techniques have been applied to Maharishi's Original Dragon and disruptive camouflage prints, as an expression of nature, art and design - remaining opposed to regime change war.
