Autumn / Winter 2021 Technical Edit

In the latest editorial feature Maharishi explores the ancient valleys of the Mendip Hills, highlighting some of AW21's technical and performance styles.

Reinforcing the Maharishi ethos of 'respect nature, utilise technology' garments employ a range of fabrics that combine technical properties with natural and eco-conscious production processes.

Key fabrics include a vegetable-dyed micro-ripstop nylon by Japanese heritage mill Komatsu. Recycled from waste yarn, the textile is water-resistant and quick-drying to offer protection from the elements whilst remaining lightweight and breathable.

Sherpa fleece garments are constructed using yarn made from 100% post-consumer recycled materials, while other styles feature insulated quilting with synthetic fill to provide additional warmth in cooler climates.
