Founded in 2004 by Kode9, Hyperdub Records celebrates its 15th anniversary with a three way collaboration alongside maharishi and AIAIAI.
The South London label's international roster has continued to mutate and pioneer in the interzones of electronic music – best known for releasing artists such as Burial and the late Chicago footwork pioneer, DJ Rashad.
The capsule features the Hyperdub mascot – the 3rd Ear Cat – the bastard child of a Japanese lucky cat and a failed CIA experiment, ‘acoustic kitty’, across Organic Cotton Tees and Travel Waistbags with 3M branding. The Travel Waistbag is sold as a set with a pair of AIAIAI TMA-2 Modular Headphones, and features custom compartments for headphones, cables, USB drives and more.
Accompanying the release is an exclusive mix by Kode9, channelling the maharishi spirit by fusing influences from East and West, North and South. [listen here]
