Historically the narrow sea through which ancient Asian peoples travelled to become the first indigenous Americans, the strait embodies the convergence of two worlds—geographically, culturally, and historically. This inspiration is brought to life through intricately embroidered designs, including yin-yang-inspired bears that represent the merging of polar opposites, a concept at the heart of Maharishi’s philosophy. Additionally, tour-style jackets feature embroidered maps on either side, which unite when fastened, symbolising the meeting of East and West.

These high-visibility camo patterns shed their military association to reaffirm a connection with nature and storytelling. Chronicled in Hardy Blechman’s definitive book, DPM transforms traditional military designs into a canvas for artistic expression.
