Pacifist Military Design

The Pacifist Military Design capsule embodies the ethos at the heart of Maharishi: functional, sustainable, military design with a conscious, pacifist spirit. Anchored by staple pieces such as the Original Snopants®, cargo pants, organic cotton hoodies, and track tops, each item reflects a careful balance of practicality and understated style.

Respect Nature Utilise Technology

Respect Nature / Utilise Technology capsule embodies Maha’s core ethos — balancing harmony with nature and progress through innovation.

Embroidery

Maharishi's embroidery style draws direct inspiration from the iconic Tour Jackets, originally popularised by U.S. advisors stationed in Southeast Asia during the 1960s.

Reflecting that tradition, Maharishi applies the same layout principles, often featuring a ‘top rocker’ wordmark above a central graphic and completed with dates or a lower rocker, to Original Snopants®, sweats, tees and jackets.

Maha Tailor Shop

Maharishi continues to explore its mythological Tailor Shop roots - including reproductions and modifications of military uniforms from 1960's Vietnam and expanding into Tibet, Okinawa and Thailand. The tailor shop's work spans uniform modification, camouflage reproductions, MAHAPATCHCO badges & insignia, and Costume Co. replicas.

DPM: Camouflage

Maharishi aims to detach camouflage from its military associations and promote its natural roots and artistic influences.

Since 1999, DPM has since remained a continuous element of Maharishi collections, evolving through new patterns, technologies, artworks and collaborations while maintaining its original pacifist intent.

Upcycled

Upcycling military surplus is a permanent feature at Maharishi, transforming unwearable items into ready-to-wear garments and reclaiming them as symbols of peace rather than war.

M.A.L.I.C.E

Pacifist Military Design: M.A.L.I.C.E. (Modified All-Purpose Lightweight Individual Carrying Equipment) draws inspiration from the U.S. Army’s Vietnam era ALICE pack, designed to reduce the infantryman’s overall carrying weight.
