DPM: Bonsai Tigerstripe
DPM: Bonsai Tigerstripe is a modern evolution of the grailed Vietnamese camouflage, merging military heritage with subtle spiritual motifs. This latest iteration of Maharishi's house pattern is layered with deeper symbolism, where the disruptive stripes are infiltrated by icons of peace — the original dragon, heavenly clouds, and meditative imagery that transform a once combative design into one that carries balance and reflection.
Rooted in the 1960s South Vietnamese reinterpretation of French lizard camo, Tigerstripe became iconic during the Vietnam War, favoured by ARVN elites and then the U.S. Special Forces. It has since endured as a symbol of both military prestige and cultural influence.
Maharishi extends this lineage into contemporary autumn wear, applying the pattern across fleece camo kimonos, cotton-hemp overshirts, and a range of accessories.
