DUALITY · THE TRUTH IS ONE
New artworks of Crow & Heron and Tiger Dragon draw from ancient symbolism to reflect the duality of equally opposing forces. The Tiger Dragon represents the concept of the Yin and Yang. The Tiger, the most powerful earthly being in Taoist symbolism, represents Yin—linked to the earth and night. The Dragon embodies Yang—dynamic, active, and free from earthly constraints; it’s associated with the celestial. Together, they balance opposing forces, showing how each is incomplete without the other, reflecting harmony through contrast. Furthermore, the Crow & Heron design contrasts the crow’s mysterious, transformative energy with the heron’s serene grace and longevity, referencing the opposing interplay between chaos and tranquility.
The collection also features a range of new styles from the Maha Tailor Shop, Maharishi's minimalist design studio which was originally inspired by the tailor shops set up in Vietnam during the war.
This line elevates monochrome styles with asymmetric cuts and customisable detailing, offering a refined approach to modern tailoring. Luxurious fabric choices, such as Australian virgin merino wool and Japanese cotton sateen, add a layer of tactile richness, blending understatement with innovative craftsmanship.
