Maharishi OKINAWA BOOT
Maharishi works with renowned Italian footwear maker Fracap to introduce the Okinawa Boot, a refined reproduction of the original military design, reimagined with precision craftsmanship and contemporary intent.
The Okinawa boot traces back to WWII U.S. tropical combat boots, developed for hot, humid jungle conditions in the Pacific, where standard leather boots struggled in mud and rain, prompting use of canvas and leather hybrids for better breathability and faster drying.
Handmade in Italy, Maha’s version of the boot combines durable cotton canvas with premium Italian leather, grounded by a rugged Vibram commando sole. A natural calf leather lining ensures comfort, while functional details such as an adjustable ankle strap, gunmetal eyelets, and two sets of laces in black and brown balance utility with understated design.
Each pair comes complete with a shoe brush, reinforcing a commitment to longevity and care.
Available in limited quantities, the Okinawa Boot embodies Maharishi’s ethos of pacifist military design.
