Marrharishi · Limited Edition Advisors Shirt
The limited-edition Marrharishi Advisors Shirt, created in collaboration with Johnny Marr, is available now.
Inspired by the utility shirts worn by US military advisors during the Vietnam War, the design reclaims military clothing for peaceful purposes through Maharishi’s Pacifist Military Design philosophy.
Cut from stone-washed cotton-hemp oxford, the shirt features Maharishi’s Original Dragon in hand-machine embroidery across the back, alongside collaboration patches, including a Johnny Marr Buddha motif and removable Marrharishi nametape.
To accompany the collaboration, just four Fender Stratocaster® guitars and four Tone Master Deluxe Reverb® amplifiers were produced. One set was created for Johnny Marr, one for Maharishi founder Hardy Blechman, with the remaining two sets permanently displayed at Maharishi’s London and New York stores.
